Reading Rods® Simple Sentences Classroom Kit
Students can work independently or in small groups as they practice simple sentence building, parts of speech and punctuation usage and recognition of synonyms, antonyms, and homophones. Kit contains: 160 color-coded, interlocking Simple Sentences rods (enough for up to four students to work together); 24 double-sided activity cards; 48-page instruction and activity book; four activity trays; and a storage tub for rods. Skills taught and reinforced: construction of simple sentences; introduction to parts of speech; and recognition of synonyms, antonyms and homophones.
